Olympic Record Nobody Can Break in 52 Years

Each person is unusual and beautiful in their own way, but some of them stand out in the crowd way more than others. Their unique bodies, abilities, and even incredible love stories make them more than just extraordinaire. We have nothing left to do but admire them. For example, Robert Wadlow was and still is the tallest man ever. He towered at 8’11” (2.72 m) – grown men’s heads reached him at waist-level! “The Giant of Illinois” was last measured in 1940 and still holds the record 80 years later.

On the other end of that spectrum, we have the shortest man ever. He was just 21.5 inches (54.6 cm) tall. His head wouldn’t have reached Wadlow’s knee-height. But there are really strange records. For instance, one soccer referee holds the record for serving 36 red cards during one game. He sent off 22 players, all substitutes, and coaches after a brawl broke out. So, yes, world records offer us fascinating factoids. Here are some of the strangest achievements that are quite interesting to know.
